Our Dental Programs

Delta Dental of Oklahoma understands that no two companies share the exact same benefit needs, so we’ve developed products that offer a variety of benefit levels and options. Our insured plans are based on our extensive participating dentist networks, Delta Dental Premier and Delta Dental PPO. The bottom line – small group or large, with employees in Oklahoma or across the nation, Delta Dental has a plan to fit your group’s needs.
 


Delta Dental PPO

Delta Dental PPO gives members access to the nation’s largest PPO network, providing quality dental benefits at great cost savings.
 

  • Out-of-pocket costs are typically the lowest of all plans.
  • Delta Dental PPO dentists accept Delta Dental’s payment as payment-in-full for covered services, which eliminates balance billing (subscribers are responsible for their deductible and coinsurance amounts).
  • Delta Dental PPO dentists file claims directly with DDOK on behalf of the subscriber.
  • The Delta Dental PPO network is one of the largest dentist networks in Oklahoma and nationwide.
  • Employer groups can customize benefits to meet their budget and employee needs.
  • While out-of-pocket costs are typically lower when using a PPO provider, members may also visit a Delta Dental Premier provider (or any licensed dentist they choose).
  • All plans, including Delta Dental PPO, come with live, local customer service from our courteous and professional Oklahoma-based representatives.


Delta Dental PPO – Plus Premier

Delta Dental PPO – Plus Premier combines the Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier networks for extensive dentist network access.
 

  • Delta Dental PPO – Plus Premier plans provide two networks for maximum access and savings opportunities.
  • Members may select a dentist from either the PPO or Premier network with no balance billing (subscribers are responsible for their deductible and coinsurance amounts).
  • Delta Dental PPO and Premier dentists file claims directly with DDOK on behalf of the subscriber.
  • Greater network savings are available when utilizing a PPO provider. Employer groups can customize benefits to meet their budget and employee needs.
  • All plans, including Delta Dental PPO – Plus Premier, come with live, local customer service from our courteous and professional Oklahoma-based representatives.


Delta Dental PPO – Point of Service

Delta Dental PPO – Point of Service provides a solution to the dental needs of employees and their dependents while meeting the ever-changing budgetary demands of employers.
 

  • Delta Dental PPO – Point of Service uses two networks, Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier, for maximum access and savings opportunities.
  • Provider reimbursement is based on the network utilized.
  • Members may select a dentist from either the PPO or Premier network with no balance billing (subscribers are responsible for their deductible and coinsurance amounts).
  • Delta Dental PPO – Point of Service provides enhanced benefits and increased savings when utilizing a PPO provider.
  • Delta Dental PPO and Premier dentists file claims directly with DDOK on behalf of the subscriber. Employer groups can customize benefits to meet their budget and employee needs.
  • All plans, including Delta Dental PPO – Point of Service, come with live, local customer service from our courteous and professional Oklahoma-based representatives.


Retiree Conversion Program

Through our Retiree Conversion Program, Delta Dental provides a simple process for retiring employees to continue their dental benefits at no cost to your group.
 

  • Employees currently enrolled in your dental plan continue their quality dental benefits upon retirement by converting to an individual retiree dental plan.
  • Dependents of the retiree must be enrolled at that time.
  • Payments are made monthly via a DDOK draft from the retiree’s checking or savings account or by a one-time payment for the calendar year.
  • A rate adjustment, if necessary, would occur in January of the fiscal year.
  • Retiree Conversion Enrollment Forms are to be completed and submitted to our office within 30 days of the retiree leaving your employment.
